Peace & Presence: Somatic Release
Peace & Presence is a mindfulness series of diverse holistic wellness workshops for student survivors and co-survivors of sexual trauma. These sessions will explore non-verbal and experiential healing techniques, self-calming tools, and guide participants in incorporating mindfulness into your daily lives.

Our bodies serve us in many ways, alerting us to important information about our internal and external environments. After a traumatic experience(s) our bodies may hold onto physical states that no longer serve us. In this workshop, you will learn about the ways in which your body may be holding onto tension, difficult emotions, or have difficulty feeling present, and practice ways to release this within your body. You may be asked to stand up or move your body throughout the workshop. No materials are needed to participate in this workshop.
